Re-use your existing Anthropic subscription with Downsizing. Billing stays with Anthropic — we shrink the context before it reaches them.

How it works

Downsizing compresses the context, performs various optimizations, and streams the response directly back to you. As a result, you pay for a much smaller token count, and you can track the savings on the dashboard.

Prerequisites

Connection is done through the Downsizing CLI — install it first if you haven't already.

Connect

Run the following command. You'll be prompted to pick one of three options:

Subscription — open browser

Opens claude.ai in your browser. Downsizing handles the OAuth callback automatically — no copy-pasting needed.

Subscription — headless

Prints a URL to open manually, then you paste the code back. Useful over SSH or in environments without a browser.

Pay-per-use

No Anthropic subscription required. You pay Downsizing directly at lower-than-API rates — enable it from the dashboard.
